HSE Healthy Ireland Report

IMAGERY | ICONOGRAPHY | TYPOGRAPHY

navigatebydesign were commissioned on behalf of the RCSI Hospitals Group and the Health Service Executive (HSE) to design their report ‘2016 Healthy Ireland Implementation Plan’.

The RCSI Hospitals Group needed a fresh and attractive design for their Implementation plan brochure design which would appeal to a broad demographic of Irish society. Following a detailed briefing session with the client we chose to feature the image of a natural looking model on the cover creating a heart symbol over her face to show a ‘personal journey to wellness’.

The design also incorporated a prominent use of the Healthy Ireland brand green to visually link the reports across the Healthy Ireland network. The report features custom infographics and full page ‘hero’ imagery to help pace the document and make it more visually engaging.

Healthy Ireland was launched by the government in March 2013 with the mission “A healthy Ireland where everyone can enjoy physical & mental health & wellbeing to their full potential.”

The report was launched on the 11th of November 2016 by The Minister for Health Promotion, Marcella Corcoran Kennedy TD.
